Workshops and Retreats

I offer workshops and retreats that are born out of my learned and lived experience of integrated wellness. Cumulatively, I’ve spent over 400 days of my life living out of a backpack in the wild. I’ve worked part time as a backpacking instructor for The National Outdoor Leadership School since 2012, and I have been certified as a Wilderness First Responder since 2005. My workshops and retreats draw on my personal and professional experience in the backcountry, my background in yoga, and my seven years spent as an experiential educator in a variety of contexts spanning from working farms to guided travel to classrooms.

Cambridge/Boston Women’s Circle (Monthly-next gathering is Sunday, June 9 at 5pm)
The culture of women gathering has roots as old as human history, and with good reason. Gloria Steinem once stated: "Groups run by women are our psychic turf; our place to discover who we are, or who we could become, as whole independent beings. Somewhere in our lives, each of us needs a free place. A little psychic territory." The Women's Circle meets once monthly at a private residence to explore a variety of themes and resources. The group is currently at capacity, but that is subject to change, so please be in touch if you have interest in joining.

Customized Workshops or Retreats (By Request)
I have led workshops on the following topics: giving and receiving feedback, vulnerability and connection; choice; comparison; leadership; contentment vs. complacency; intention setting; personal narratives; & self-awareness. I enjoy integrating yoga, hiking and/or backpacking into workshops and retreats.

Customized Ceremonies (By Request)
We have a limited script of life moments that we celebrate as a culture, and a limited scope of ways we celebrate these moments. Bachelorette's need not be the only way to acknowledge the transition of a relationship, and it is just as valid to pay homage to a divorce as it is to a wedding. If you are looking for a different way to mark any important moment in your life--from birthdays to retirements to relationship transitions to births to deaths, please be in touch.
